Just as Jordan Brand delivered their Fall 2020 preview, so, too, has Nike ISPA; and while the former is prepared to usher in a series of lifestyle and sportswear-inspired colorways, the latter has delved into heavy experimentation, releasing aggressively designed staples such as the Overreact and its warm weather appropriate sibling. Next in line, the ISPA Flow approaches a similar aesthetic with different form, though its subversion of the technical status quo is still all the same throughout its small handful of debut colorways.
Muted at most points yet vibrant where it counts, the pair here effectively blends together hi-vis accents with a tweaked camouflage. This print is made up of varying synthetics, the weave seemingly thick where there’s color while thin and somewhat opaque were there isn’t. Loose gauge mesh then masks only adjacent, wrapping the lateral side as well as the collar in a complementing olive shade. Blues work their way in along the smaller details, etched onto the ankle’s outline as well as the branding along the tongue pull; yellows combat for attention, stealing most of the eye thanks to the full coat found along the entire tooling.
Finished with darker hits of green, a mostly translucent toe cap, and an extremely intricate lacing system, the pair is scheduled for release at Nike.com as well as select retailers on August 13th.
