The NikeCourt Tech Challenge 20 is arguably the perfect marriage between heritage and modern-day technology. Its latest colorway blends vintage appeal with today’s sensibilities.
Unabashedly inspired by Andre Agassi’s Air Tech Challenge II, NikeCourt’s low-top silhouette features a synthetic leather construction riddled with perforations across the midfoot and forefoot for improved breathability. Furthermore, splatter-like patterns take over the Tech Challenge 20‘s lateral midsole tooling, which boast a rich navy hue. Wavy outsole tread, profile accents, collar lining, and tongue labels also indulge in the “Obsidian”-reminiscent tone, with the most latter components’ complemented with neon green flair. Exposed Flywire cables, bottom eye-stays, and “NIKE AIR” logos on the heel also partake in the ’90s-favorite color, while the rest of the tennis-ready shoe revels in white splendor.
An official Nike.com release date is still unknown, but this Tech Challenge 20 is gradually arriving at select retailers for $120 USD. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair here below.
Elsewhere under The Swoosh umbrella, the Air Foamposite One recently surfaced in a colorway inspired by the 1996 NBA All-Star Game.
