If Kanye’s recent leaks are any indication, adidas Yeezy often creates a surplus of colorways for their mainstay silhouettes — most unlikely to make it to the public. The Yeezy 500, though released in fewer quantities, has also been subjected to such experimentation as obvious by the reveal of this “Lavender” sample.
While new in its appearance, the sample is most likely an offshoot of the “Soft Vision” that actually released, something evident by both the overall colorway and the tooling. Though far distinct in its use of purple instead of pink, the tread arrives with the same gum yellow that the aforementioned included. Elsewhere, the suede and mesh panels are saturated further with darker hue, sandwiched between a midsole and top line that prefer a somewhat more muted coloring.
Grab a detailed look at the sample here, and while they’ve just been revealed, it’s likely we won’t be seeing an retail release.
In other news, an atmos ZX1180 is on the way.
