Yet another transformation for the iconic silhouette, the Nike Air Max 90 Surplus effectively draws from militaria in a subtle fashion, turning tested fabrications civilian with a trio of tonal colorways.
The next up, following the desert issue, is a more characteristic Olive Green, a shade oft-used within camo patterns and all parts of the iconic Battle Dress Uniform. It works its way into nearly every fixture atop the construction — mudguard, toe box, etc — with very little color deviation from one to the next. Mudguards and vamps are dressed in a robust textured leather, while the panels adjacent prefer nylon, ballistic mesh, and the typical rubber molds; forward, atop the toe cap, a small supportive bit of Volt green accents, providing a hi-vis accent that would typically be a death sentence on the actual field.
Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to hit Nike.com hopefully within the coming months.
