It’s become crystal clear that one of the main focuses for the Reebok family this season is to bombard the market with a slew of collaborative projects. Lately, the Boston-headquartered brand has ramped up their footwear partnerships with many an imprint including that of the Minions, JJJJound, and XIMONLEE, and now they’re linking up with Japan-based fashion house Yoshiokubo for a new capsule.
Split between two classic silhouettes, the collection involves the Reebok Instapump Fury and the Club C, both of which carry heavy Japanese influences. While more minimally-styled, the Club C iteration is presented with stark black uppers, and white midsoles decorated with messy ink marks throughout.
Its release sibling in the Instapump Fury is designed with a little more adventurous flair as its upper gradients from a deep teal toe box before eventually transitioning to washed purple mid-foots and angelic heel regions splattered with black ink. Moreover, if you take a gander at the heels of each option, you’ll notice that they each split between a bonsai tree on the left side and “Reebok” written out it katakana lettering on the right. Scroll further down to peep a closer look at each take, and note that they’ll be dropping overseas on October 9th. Stay tuned for more information regarding a stateside drop on Reebok.com.
For other news, a Patta Reebok Club C collaboration is in the works.
