After the Dunk Low and High, Nike SB‘s most important and most prolific silhouette would have to be the Blazer Mid, an icon that has since seen collaborations with Stussy, Kevin Bradley, and even Frog Skateboards. In parallel, the brand has also done well to cater to the GR audience as they’ve further iterated on the two-toned scheme as exhibited here with the upcoming “Mystic Dates” colorway.
Loud, though relegated to a supporting role, the Glacier Ice of this offering’s palette lines the oversized Swoosh along the side as well as the branding that spells “NIKE” in bold at the heel. Even the tongue patch follows suit somewhat, while its backdrop, in comparison, leans more into the wine-like shade of the aforementioned. This brown, purple, almost Bordeaux-esque tone coats the suede upper in entirety as well as the laces and lining that complement adjacent.
Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release at skate shops and likely Nike.com.
In other news, Nike has opted for a minimal aesthetic with the Nike Air Max 1 Asparagus.
Updated January 16th, 2021: The shoes have released on Nike here.
