The Nike VaporFly NEXT% Gets A Japan-Exclusive Colorway

While no longer the pinnacle of Nike Running’s propositions, the Nike ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% continues being the go-to choice for runners across the globe. So as it heads into 2021, the silhouette has dressed up in a race day-ready “White/Cyber/Black/Racer Blue” colorway made exclusively for the Japanese market.

The newly-launched tri-colored pair isn’t the first tribute to the Eastern country. In December 2019, the silhouette appeared as part of a larger “Ekiden” collection launched to commemorate the Japanese relay competition. Instead of bright oranges and blues, the model’s latest iteration indulges in a predominantly “White” arrangement complemented by hits of “Cyber” and “Racer Blue” throughout the VaporWeave upper and ZoomX foam sole unit. By contrast, the tread underfoot boasts a tried-and-proven “White/Black” palette that allows the aforementioned accents to revel in the spotlight that much more.
