The Nike Air Max Plus hasn’t celebrated a milestone anniversary since 2018, but it’s remained a note-worthy staple within the Swoosh’s catalog. For its latest proposition, the Tuned Air-classic has emerged in an unassuming mix of off-white tones accompanied by faint pink snakeskin detailing.
Unlike inaugural pairs designed by Sean McDowell, the forthcoming take on the once-Footlocker-exclusive forgoes any loud gradient across its mixed-materials upper. Instead, TPU overlays and mesh bases indulge in a cream arrangement, which also takes over most of the tongue, visible Airbags in the midsole and tread. Mudguards interrupt the tonal scheme not only with their faux snakeskin construction, but also their light rose makeup; the stark contrast also appears on the top of the tongue and on the spine. “Tn AIR” badges throughout the model maintain their standard yellow and white styling.
