First teased in June 2020, the Nike Dunk High prepped for the NBA’s 2021 All-Star Weekend has officially been delayed until March 9th.
Earlier rumors stated the two-tone proposition was heading to retailers for a February 11th launch date, but that’s no longer the case. The latest update arrives alongside new images of the pair, which reveal a more accurate depiction of the sneaker’s glossy “Black” overlays. Perhaps a nod to the detailing found on some hardwoods, random curved patterns appear throughout the paneling, arguably overshadowing the “Barely Green” leather elsewhere. A holographic insignia marking the scheduled-for-Indiana-event adorn the lateral heel. Air Jordan 1-reminiscent sole units opt into a tried-and-proven “yin-and-yang” color combination that may have worked better with a glow-in-the-dark finish.
