> Back to Air Jordan History

Despite being the return of patent leather on Air Jordans, the XIX’s didn’t fare as well as some might have expected when looking at the great popularity the Air Jordan XI.  But then again, the XVI’s weren’t the most successful of Air Jordans.  Of course, MJ wasn’t around to promote either of these sneakers in-game due to retirement, but this time it was for good.  This white version of the sneaker contains a patent leather toe and leather uppers.  The lace-covering mesh is inspired by the Black Mamba snake (no, not Kobe).  Pics via Kixclusive
