As many of you may know, Spike Lee has done a number of commercials, promoting Air Jordans, including the Air Jordan III.  So in honor of Spike, aka Mars Blackmon, Jordan Brand decided to design a sneaker after him; particularly after his movie Do The Right Thing, which featured Air Jordans.  The coloring of the sneaker is heavily based on the movie’s poster, with its blue nubuck uppers and blue cement print.  The shoe is accented with yellow and a little bit of green seen in the visible air unit and on the tongue and stitching.
