Designed after a World War II fighter plane, these Air Jordan V’s could be considered a re-retro, although the most similar colorway released before it in 2000 was slightly different.  The black nubuck uppers with silver accents have stayed the same, but the number 23 has been stitched into the side heel, while the Nike Air on the back heel has been replaced with a Jumpman.  The shoes are finished with a contrasting red lace lock and a red Jumpman on the tongue.
