Releasing in mid-1993, these Air Jordan VIII’s were the same sneaks MJ wore during the post-season in 1993, hence the nickname “Playoffs”.  He eventually went on to win his third NBA title in these kicks, defeating Sir Charles Barkley and his Phoenix Suns.  Now on to the sneakers, they feature black uppers made of a durabuck material along with a creative anti-inversion cross-strap design.  Along the midsole near the heel is a white plate with a nice design in black and red.  This same design is seen on the inner lining, as well as the outsole.  If you can’t get a hold of the OG’s, you can always grab a pair of the 2007 Retro’s.  Pics via Kixclusive
