Made in honor of Phil Knight, the nickname Buck was actually the Nike co-founder’s nickname back in college at the University of Oregon, where he ran track.  The school is where the sneaker gets its vivid green suede and yellow leather colorway from.  Notice that the name Buck replaces the Nike logo on the heel.
