For those who weren’t able to get a hold of a pair of the legendary, commotion-causing NYC Pigeon Dunks, the Purple Pigeons were as close as you’re going to get.  They were a great substitute as they featured grey suede uppers like the original Pigeons, but unlike the Pigeons, purple was instead used on the originally orange outsole and white swoosh.  Also unlike the NYC Pigeons, the purple versions were much easier to find, as they weren’t limited.  These were another great pair designed by James Arizumi.  Photos: Skit
