Designed by Deng Ke Chow, the Shanghai 1’s were made to represent the hometown of the famed Chinese rapper.  The sneaker showcases a sweet dark red suede for good luck and a metallic gold swoosh for good fortune.  This is all put together with clean white leather.  If you look closely, you can see that there is an embossed pattern in the suede.  The design was inspired by the ancient architecture of Shanghai, specifically the temples.  On the tongue are Chinese characters translating into Shanghai.
