adidas AE1 Low
The adidas AE1 Low was first unveiled in April on the eve of the NBA playoffs, following a run of immediate success for Anthony Edwards’ inaugural signature shoe. It was then debuted on-court by Edwards himself in a rosy “Mural” colorway as the Timberwolves kicked off their series against the Suns. Still proudly boasting the TPU honeycomb design on their lateral sides, the main change is a chop-down at the collar that dovetails into their new low-cut life. While the adidas AE1 proper will still no doubt be a spotlighted model for the Three Stripes, the adidas AE1 Low joins its high-cut sibling as a major focus for Summer ’24 and beyond.
The model debuted with the AE1 “Ascent” pack on August 20th, retailing for $110. The “Mural” & “Night Indigo” editions followed shortly after, with a “Lucid Lime” AE1 Low scheduled for a late September launch. Keep an eye on this page as 2024 plays out, as the breakout success of Anthony Edwards’ shoes guarantees we’ll get plenty of drops to feed the sky-high demand.
