ASAP Rocky (stylized A$AP) is a New York rapper and fashion aficionado, currently signed to PUMA. A constant throughline weaving across Rocky’s music career has been style, influencing the creation of hits like “Fashion Killa.” Due to that, he donned a diverse cast of footwear in his early career, but made his first move in the industry when he signed to Under Armour in 2017. Their partnership resulted in the Harlem MC’s first signature shoe, the Under Armour SRLo, releasing late in 2018. Quietly, the pair separated just a year later, becoming public knowledge when he was recruited to preview the Cactus Plant Flea Market Air Force 1 in 2019.

After bouncing between brands again in his public style for a period, he signed to PUMA in 2023, joining Rihanna under the German brand’s umbrella. He signed on to serve as creative director for the PUMA x F1 partnership, a deal consecrated with the release of the ASAP Rocky PUMA Inhale a shade under a year later. As the F1 is a multi-year partnership, this footwear drop is expected to be the first of many ASAP Rocky shoes brought to the public under their relationship.
