The Jordan 6 Rings is a hybrid model that combines each of the mainline Jordan sneakers that he wore during his 6 championship runs. With those coming in two three-peats, the shoe takes from 2 consecutive sets: the 6, 7, 8 and the 11, 12 & 13. The influence of the Air Jordan 11 is most obviously apparent, lending its nylon lace stays and carbon fiber mudguard. However, multiple sections of each composite silhouette crops up on the Jordan 6 Rings; the AJ6 lends the heel tab, the AJ8 adds its straps, the AJ13 imparts its sole, etc. New colorways of the 6 Rings often reference some of the most iconic colorways from mainline Jordans, but it’s equally prone to brand new formulations that help it chart forward its own path.
