Bape x Spongebob – Bapesta

You may remember the collaboration between A Bathing Ape and the cartoon show Spongebob Squarepants last year that resulted in a dope Bapesta sneaker and some tee shirts.  Recently, Pharrell Williams was spotted rocking some Spongebob Bapestas that were similar to the version released last year, but with a small twist.  From the looks of the shoe from the pictures available, it seems like Pharrell was able to get his pair made out of some extra-lux crocodile skin (or what looks like crocodile skin) while keeping the same color scheme and Spongebob face by the heel.  No word on whether or now these will be released in any type of quantity, but keep your fingers crossed and stay posted to Sneaker News.  via BBC Blog
