Here are detailed images of the upcoming and highly anticipated Air Jordan VI Retro in Black/Varsity Red. While it’s not exactly the Infrared color we all love, Varsity Red fills its shoes very well. In fact, it appears to be almost an exact duplicate of the Jordan VI Infrared, which was last retro-ed in August 23, 2000. Then again, since when can a black/red color combo on a Jordan shoe go wrong? Simply put, it can’t. not feeling the suede. jordan suede is always suspect and this doesnt do it for me. classic sneaker but i aint coppin.

Why do JB have to do this to us? Even if you got the dough for a 2000 infrared it’s almost impossible to find one in your size that’s wearable. Please at least try to make the materials half decent. It’s not like these joints are being released as cheap GR’s these will fly out the stores and cost real money. JB you’re killing the legacy.

The suede does look a lil rugged as almost everyone pointed out but the thing that kills it for me is the fact that these wont be blk/infared. I think i speak for most of us when i say i have more than my fair share of plain blk/red j’s. Im 50/50 on these tho. Wouldnt doubt if these are on sale at finishline.com for like $109 by the beginning of march with most sizes available. Especially since most people will still be restocking their pockets after the space jam release on dec 23.

The suede on this looks worse than that of the True Flights. Shake my f***ing head JB. Honestly, I began to buy to buy Jordans because they were QUALITY PRODUCTS with relative SCARCITY. Now.. it’s become low quality bullshit with intense mark-ups. Shake my head.

My sneaker connect in BeanTown called me last night and told me to come gitem this morning… The suede is similar to the retro XII’s. They’re not that much different than the last retro VI’s that came out… They’re hot regardless. First in NH with these and didn’t have to wait in a long line at the mall. I’m happy. Catch’em if you can. You will kick yourself for having to settle on those Spiz’ikes that came out a couple of weeks ago.
