As you may have already seen, yesterday we were treated to a special preview of some of Nike Basketball and Jordan Brand‘s Fall 2010 footwear, but that wasn’t all. Coming off the announcement of the World Basketball Festival, the unified front of Nike, JB and Converse introduced some of the footwear and apparel that we’ll be seeing on some of international basketball’s biggest stars this August. In addition to the sneakers, Nike will also be outfitting some of the world’s top teams with stylish new uniforms that feature a more fitted tank and mesh shorts made from some of the most lightweight and quick-drying materials ever seen.
Several team kits were on display amidst an eye-popping gallery of oversized posters, featuring stylized cartoon versions of some of the three brands’ most recognizable stars from around the globe. Aside from the visual display that was presented at NYC’s Chelsea Piers, you can also keep reading to check out some computer-generated images of the eventual game sites to be held at Madison Square Garden, as well as outdoor wood floor set-ups that will appear in Times Square and at the legendary Rucker Park in Harlem.

No guarantee Kobe or Lebron will be 100% involved with the event. Lebron just had a world tour last summer for Nike….its ok if other players get some promo love.
