For many the retro of the Air Jordan III White/Cement Grey-Black-Fire Red in 2011 is on the list of the most anticipated sneakers for 2011. We just received a leaked teaser of the packaging which should add fire to the already hot release, it looks like the 2011 Air Jordan III Retro will come in the OG Black and Cement Grey Elephant Print box! Comparing this leaked upcoming box and looking at the OG box it does seem that this will probably be the 2011 box, note the side of the new box has the Jumpman logo and the OG box has Nike Air on the side of the box. How exactly would this box fulfill or cure their nostalgia? The shoes should be enough to do that alone. Nevermind the fact that the newer box has the jumpman on the side, as opposed to the OG box that said "Nike Air". If this shoe were to truly fulfill this nostalgia then the shoe and the box would have a "Nike Air"…..AND BETTER QUALITY.

About quality; I've been hearing the problem for that I read a few months ago is because people now wear J's for casual wear not to play basketball. (Correct if I'm wrong) I highly doubt that people would actually play basketball in some FRE$H, CLEAN AJ III's since people are afraid of creases, scuffing 'em up, getting 'em dirty, ect.

if you have owned any AJ IIIs in the past few years you'd see the terrible quality, painted midsoles that crack just wearing them to the store or stiff, cardboard leather than feels like you're wearing cement shoes…but JB still takin' your money…

Because they are a mix between Nike Air Force 1's and Air Jordans! That would mean that the agreement is for both brands to respectively have each logo on fusions for the recognition. Thats what a joint project is all about

Yea! I'm a old school Jordan wearer too. The quality has change I stop buying them for that. I never had the white/red. These are a must have then I am done with jordan he is getting over on us. The black ones was $80 bucks back in the day. Jordan does nothing for hoods/com. that started this Air Jordan thing for him not even any REC. centers nor any inner city tournaments.

Right on BUT….why is it that in 1999 (after JB branched out from Nike) the og colored IV's said NIKE AIR…even in the year 2000 og colored V's, VI's had NIKE AIR even the insoles of the Concord XI's said NIKE AIR, the blk/red 1's has nike air on the toungue…cmon how do you explain that?… But why is it that the II's say nike on the back but not on the bottom sole??…Bottom line…JB can do whatever they want… and if they want to slap NIKE AIR logo they will…i just hope they get the messege…

I ordered them from Marquee Sole and they didn't come wit the elephant print box.
they came wit the elephant print paper, everything was right on the inisde, including my lovely threes. So sycked abou my threes. But a lil disapointed abou the box. I was rlly lo0kn forward to that box. Next time i'mma order by kicks from rmk
