The upcoming “Black Pack” Jordans bring the monochromatic treatment to four models — the Air Jordan 14 Low, Air Jordan 15, Air Jordan 16, and Air Jordan 17 Low. After first looks at the other three surfaced over the past several months, the Air Jordan 16 has finally been revealed, completing our look at the entire collection ahead of its expected Holiday ’26 release.
While an all-black Jordan might sound straightforward on paper, the material execution makes this pair much more interesting than other styles likes the Air Jordan 4 “Black Cat.” The Air Jordan 16 features full-grain pebbled leather across the upper with glossy patent leather covering the toe box, creating a mega-luxurious execution for the silhouette.
Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe of the post-Bulls era has always occupied an unusual space between performance basketball and formalwear, most notably through its removable gaiter. The mixture of textured leather, patent finishes, and a completely blacked-out palette only emphasizes that personality, but we’ve seen some daring visions like the recently dropped Free The Youth Ghana collaboration.
With the Air Jordan 16 now accounted for, the entire Black Pack has officially come into focus; four different chapters of Jordan history in the post-Bulls era united by perhaps the simplest colorway formula there is.
