One popular piece of Kobe-trivia is this tidbit of information about Duke being a possible suitor for Kobe Bryant if he didn’t go straight to the NBA after High School. Kobe in a Blue Devils uniform would have been quite an interesting sight, and teaming up with future NBA-ers Roshown McLeod and Trajan Langdon (and later on with Shane Battier and Elton Brand) might’ve produced more National Championships for Coach K. and crew. That’s all speculation, but certainly one that isn’t too far off, because Kobe Bryant won five championships on the NBA level.
