Supporters and detractors alike have been awaiting the arrival of the Nike Air Yeezy 2, and after a quick glimpse during a cameo appearance in Kobe Bryant’s Black Mamba movie and a better viewing during his performance at Coachella this past weekend, Kanye West has finally let the cat out of the bag for good as he was spotted in London wearing the Nike Air Yeezy 2. Here’s what’s been carried over from the original Air Yeezy; a black colorway, a light mint green translucent outsole, and a forefoot strap. Here’s what’s new; a different outsole, adopted from the Nike Air Tech Challenge II, lux leather materials – possibly a faux animal-skin (remember Nike is animal friendly now), a slimmer construction, golden accents on the upper, and a unique pattern on the tongue that could very well be the lightweight Torch material.
