Wale built quite a following in the mid 2000s and finally got his major label deal in 2008 when he signed to Interscope. 2009′s Attention Deficit piqued plenty of sneakerheads’ sixth sense when he was pictured turing for the album in a variety of heat, most notably the Nike Foamposite series and various rare Air Jordans. And though Wale moved to Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group less than two years later, his image remains relatively ‘Self Made’ and the man’s love for kicks persists. Here’s some video proof in the form of a behind the scenes look at MMG’s first single from their album by the same name set to drop later this month, one set in the desert wherein Wale is pictured with a pair of Air Jordan XI ‘Concords’ from the 2006 Defining Moments Package. So Wale wore a shoe as old as his recording career for his first video with a new group and you can see more when you click on the jump below.

Nice clip… I am still waiting for actual pics of the 2011 Holiday release…. @ Kill The Game: Im hoping for blue tint… CG's blue tint was not extreemly noticeable to me. So for Concords, Bring on the tint.

wish i had this dmp 6/11 pack…. esp the 11's……… a gold trim concord is just plain fire… the black and gold 6's are sick as well….. one of a kind 6&11 in one pack couldn't go wrong… marking the signature shoes mj wore in the first year of his 2 3peats…… my 2 fav j's in one pack???? sick… best j pack ever IMO….. wasn't on top of my game at the time when this really limited pack dropped…… I still just cant see dropin a $G or more on it now……
