Basketball certainly doesn’t stop at the collegiate level, so here’s a gluttonous helping of sneakers spotted during the opening week of games of the 2011-2012 NCAA Basketball season. We already showed you the impressive sneakers spotted during epic Carrier Classic game from this past Friday, but there was a plethora of college b-ball action that went down – Arizona, Duke, Washington, Ohio State, Syracuse – all the big names with flashy kicks were all scheduled for action. Seen during the opening games was the Air Jordan VII Cardinal, a few Air Jordan V colorways, the LeBron 9 ‘Ohio State’ (dropping tomorrow), the Huarache 2k4, a ton of Zoom Kobe VI, Hyperfuse 2011, and Hyperdunk 2011s, the adiZero Rose 2.0, and much more. Check out some of the select images below and stick with Sneaker News for more NCAA Feet action as the season rolls on. via Yahoo!.
yes favorite segment on sneakernews is back! love seeing all the heat that comes with college ball. and UW getting love early. good looks SN
Wheres all the new Kobes at? I thought that new boot was so "revolutionary". They all get free sneakers and still dont wear that POS! LMAO
this was a great post to start off the ncaa season. cant wait to see what the rest of the season has in store!!
i really like those 8's paired with the syracuse uniform. and to the guy ballin in the true blues, bold move my man, your feet are gonna hurt
i'm not sure why players continue to wear the early jordan retros. it puts them at a significant disadvantage when it comes to jumping and moving laterally. i'd take 20 years of technology over rocking a 1-10 just to look cool.
i was thinking of dematha too when i saw quinn...i dont know how anyone could ball in true blues though that would just be rough!
Idk man. technology doesn't automatically improve quality. My first cell phone was so motha fuggin tough that thing could have won us a war. I can do a lot of cool shit with an iphone, but I can't throw it against the wall like my first celly. I bet money you tear the material on the hyperdunk before a 1 - 10. Plus, be real. look at the guys rocking the J's, ain't no body trying to describe their game as "disadvantaged".
