Jordan Brand’s Flight 23 store in NYC is open for business. Nearly 30 years after Michael Jordan first suited up in the Air Jordan 1, the brand has officially planted their flag in NYC with a dedicated retail space-one that’s just a stone’s throw away from Madison Square Garden. The details regarding the inside of the store have been kept pretty hush hush till now-you no doubt remember the gigantic Air Jordan 3 style shoebox that was sitting outside acting as a construction barrier. With the barrier gone and the doors open, we stepped inside the spot today and captured the magic of the new Jordan Brand Flight 23 store.
The space toes the line between Jordan Brand’s dual identities. On one hand there are the various performance models, the Jordan Melo M10 and Air Jordan XX8 SE among them, that represent the team’s constant dedication to innovation within the footwear world. On the other hand there are the retros and the accompanying apparel, which tell the back story of Michael’s countless achievements that helped make Jordan Brand the globally recognized force that it is today. Continue reading for an individual look at the various details sprinkled into the carefully curated Jordan Brand Flight 23 retail space for more insight and remember that they’re now open for business at 255 W.34th street.
I hate how NYC gets all this Love, but come to Portland, "Home of Nike" and you won't find any special stores. Just the Nike HQ that doesn't sell retros! So how a bout showing some love to the city that puts Nike on the map!?!
@briansflood I would've got 7s if it was online
@mileswelll yoooo fuck our lives. we walked right passed it
camping is for kids who never seen MJ play. Those are the lil hype shits. I would rather pay 350 for a pair then wait 12 hours, fuck that
Not dope at all... I camped 12 hrs because of a restock on Jordan 1 bred foot action was suppose to put out. Not until the morning of that foot action stated they would not restock the jordan 1 we were all waiting for. Instead they restocked the bel-air 5 and dfm 6-7 pack (both fails). I passed on the purchase then and now! how every many sucked up there pride and purchased them to give purpose for there endless wait. I believe the opening was a failure and distasteful. It felt like a bait and switch....smh. The only positive were the employees that handed out coffee and bagels in the morning, thanks... However i will not be shopping at this location along with the others online that felt hoaxed!
хуля дрочиться на магазин. один хер интересные релизы скупят спекулянты. а на магазине всегда будет стоять один неликвид
It's so crazy to me how we still eat up the legend that is Michael. We've heard all the stories, know all the achievements and love the sneakers, but still get a kick out of displays of homage to the them.
@JChambirds hahaha it ain't gon last nobody wants that when they can go to their local mall to buy those kicks haha
How about living in Eugene where Nike was invented and for one call Portland home of Nike and get less Jordan's or Nike shoes than probably any big city in the country. Our Nike store is the size of my bedroom.
@Dr Kumar Singh MD Thank you! There's always at least one error in their articles. You'd think they'd care enough to proofread them.
@willtunechi dog were heated!! Haha
@devildog8774 It's more like $500, and wasn't some random store release. It was hyped they have some crazy shit there, and good releases. And first Jordan store of it's kind. Ended up just being garbage all around. P.S., you can find a pair anywhere of retro bred 1s for $350 shipped, let me know.
and if you did see MJ play and are grown and camp, then your retarded that needs to get a job and move out of your parents crib.
@BackseatJuice Don't. It's a waste.
@TinkerHasFailed Ditto. It was awful.
@TinkerHasFailed I know you caught the first customer at Flight 23 that came out with a Bel Air 5 in a grade school size. You could tell by the photo dude was dumb tight lmao
@SirCaptainBenzo How are you going to have all team Jordan's? smh niggas will buy them too
@JChambirds hahahaha I wonder how much more inventory they'll have on retros compared to malls That's gon be their "connect" spot haha
