Devin Booker embodies Nike Basketball’s new signature slogan of ‘Come out of Nowhere’, so it makes sense that the Phoenix Suns’ sophomore guard helped launch the new video series with a look at his past and where he’s headed in the future. The video series will also highlight Isiah Thomas and Giannis Antetokounmpo in future episodes, so be on the lookout for those inside looks to launch in the coming weeks.
In the debut episode, Booker talks about his dramatic move to Moss Point, Mississippi while in High School in order to become and elite player who was still being overlooked on the national spectrum of recruits. Everything changed when he played in front of University of Kentucky’s head coach John Calipari though, and the video takes us through the numerous steps of growth leading up to Booker’s selection at #13 overall in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Suns.
