Recently Hiroshi Fujiwara teased an upcoming Air Force 1 project featuring the signature fragment design logo etched onto the heel of a croc-skin upper. Sound familiar? It should, because a similar collaborative result hit stores about a decade ago. Nike Sportswear is revisiting this early HTM partnership (H of HTM would be Hiroshi) with the Fragment Pack, which consists of the Nike Air Force 1 Low and Nike Lunar Force 1 Low. Both are slated to drop this weekend exclusively in Shanghai so check out the gallery below and stay tuned for updated release info at other regions.

It appears that the fragment design x Nike Lunar Force 1 is indeed on the way. The pair is one that oughta look familiar for anyone who is deep in the Air Force 1 game, as the crocodile leather across the upper is immediately reminiscent of the previous pairs that fragment frontman Hiroshi Fujiwara had his hands in. Ask any legit Air Force 1 fanatic what some of the best AF1s are and chances are one of HTM’s works will be mentioned in that heralded group. Of course the “H” in HTM is Hiroshi Fujiwara, one of the holy triumvirate of Nike design and the head of fragment design, and like the previous HTM Forces, the distinct tonal croc-skin upper appears yet again on this Nike Lunar Force 1, which also features the fragment design lightning bolt logo and a micro-perforated leather inner lining. You can definitely make something similar on NIKEiD with the recent croc-skin material, but these right here are the real deal! No word on release info yet, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for more and we’ll let you know when things develop.

UNDFTD x fragment design x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star “Whiteout”

Undefeated crafted their Poorman Weapon collabo with Converse in five different military-inspired colorups, so might we be looking at an Olympic flag’s worth of designs for this latest team effort?  The timing is a bit off for an Oly tribute, but the presence of an all-white edition after the first UNDFTD x fragment design x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star arrived this winter in all-red makes us curious about the future for this trio.  This particular design has the extra oomph from a completely ‘dipped’ template, a crisp style that echoes the character-filled Chucks of yore but with a contemporary construction whose tri-branding indicates their era of origin.  These should arrive at select retailers shortly, so stick with Sneaker News for word on US availability along with updates on further releases.

UNDFTD and fragment design are two entities with a storied history of projects within the greater Nike INC umbrella. From Air Jordans to Converse to Swoosh proper, the two teams have pretty much done it all. As of late they’re forming like Voltron for some three-way action, as debuted with that blood red pair of Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars from a few months back. Next in line is a similarly solid look, a crispy all white that looks to carry the same bits of branding along the midsole foxing. Click through with us to check out this first preview and let us know if you’re looking forward to the all white UNDFTD x fragment design x Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star. As always, stick with Sneaker News for a solid release date. via Honeyee

fragment design x Cole Haan LunarGrand

Hiroshi Fujiwara of fragment design has always brought in a bit of ‘dapper’ to sneaker collaborations, so a partnership with Cole Haan focusing on one of the best sneaker/shoe releases of the year seemed like two peas in a pod. The base is already there; the wing-tip upper made sporty with the Lunar-cushioned outsole lands at that casual-meets-luxury meeting point that’s been difficult to come by, but fragment design’s got that down pat – particularly with these four colorways headed for a July 13th release. Three colorways of the Cole Haan LunarGrand and one pair of the LunarGrand Chukka will hit Cole Haan SoHo exclusively on July 13th and may be followed at a slightly wider release at select retailers. A complete look at the fragment design x Cole Haan LunarGrand is right ahead so take a look and stay tuned for a release just two weeks away! Photos: freshness

UNDFTD x Fragment Design x Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star

Upon seeing their most recent revelation, Sneaker News noted that UNDFTD has authored a heckuva lot of Puma Clydes in the last year or so.  Nine packs in ten months is quite a spread by anyone’s standards, but that doesn’t mean that eight in a slightly longer period is anything to scoff at, either.   The latest Five Strikes collab with the One Star brings in a name familiar to Nike Sportswear followers to freshen up one of the all-time greats.  The UNDFTD x fragment design x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star is completely dipped in red save its signature white vulc sole, which means everything from the eyelets to the foxing is Cincinatti’d, including the Chuck’s signature medial ankle patch, in this case a premium leather.  This could’ve been a solid Valentine’s Day drop, but what separates this design from some of the more transient V-Day fare is that a February 24th release doesn’t date these at all.  Undefeated Head of Design KB Lee showed off a few other photos that you can see after the jump; is their monochrome approach to the All Star a hit?
