The Nike Power Max is the new Nike Basketball shoe launched this 2008-09 NBA Season targeted for the Power Forward’s and Center’s of the league as well as all of the players out there who aren’t playing in the NBA but want a shoe with a lot of cushioning and support. With a full length Max Air unit in the Power Max, this shoe is definitely one of the more cushioned shoes from the Nike Basketball collection this year. Here is the Player Exclusive, made for David West of New Orleans Hornets’ in the Away Uniform colorway of Black, Orion Blue, and Varsity Purple. The upper of the shoe also features a design inspired by the city of New Orleans the alternate logo of the Hornets’ although it’s tough to see because of the tonal Black on Black application. Just the colorway itself of these shoes should be enough to make you want to get them, note the resemblance to the Air Jordan VIII “Aqua” colorway.
