The nice treatment the Air Jordan I (1) has been receiving from the designers at Jordan Brand will continue well into 2009.  News just broke of an Air Jordan Retro I “Hare” to be released during the spring of 2009.  Just in case you don’t remember, the “Hare” nickname comes from 1992 when the Air Jordan VII was advertised in commercials featuring Michael Jordan along with Bugs Bunny.  In the commercial, Bugs Bunny differentiates between “Air Jordan” (MJ) and “Hare Jordan” (The Shoes).

While the preliminary catalog images of the Air Jordan I featuring the “Hare” treatment don’t reveal too many details, we can get a fairly good impression of the two colorways along with some of the design additions.  One pair will come in stealth/black-light silver-pink clay-white while the other will be featured in a white/light silver-true red colorway.  Other than the colorways, we can see that the “Hare” version of the Air Jordan Jumpman will be located on each tongue, surrounded by a design similar to what we have seen on the Air Jordan VII.  Look for these to drop as a Quickstrike release set for April, 2009 (maybe around Easter considering the bunny?).  via Glltn
