Nike Zoom LeBron VI – Taxi Cab – Release Reminder

Nike Zoom LeBron VI – Taxi Cab – Release Reminder

Nike Zoom LebRon VI(6) - Taxi Cab - New Pictures

We first showed you the Nike Zoom LeBron VI “Taxi” edition back in January while there were still rumors about the shoe’s specific release and design details.  Nike Basketball already cooked up a “Big Apple” version of The Six for King James, which he wore during his performance at Madison Square Garden the last time he and the Cavs played the Knicks in NYC.

Information has finally become available about this version of the Nike Zoom LeBron VI and right in time for the shoe’s release tomorrow at select locations in NYC.  The shoe features a black, yellow, grey and silver colorway with a perforated black upper accented by yellow patent leather around the tow and a metallic silver Swoosh.  Checkered fabric is used around the heel and the black mid-sole contains yellow stitching to go with the rest of the grey and yellow sole as well as the upper.  New York taxi cabs have been cited as the inspiration for the shoe’s design and color scheme.  Look for these starting today at Harlem’s House of Hoops and select Footlocker locations throughout the city.  via NikeLeBron
