Vans is showing some love for Mother Earth with the new environmentally conscious Eco Era LX. They have taken the classic Era sneaker and redesigned it using eco-friendly materials provided by innovative textile manufacturer, Maharam. The shoe features a simple red and blue upper with a white midsole and comes with the satisfaction of knowing that when you wear them out, they will be far more recyclable than most sneakers. To further seal the deal, the Vans Vault Eco Era LX will come with an extra pair of blue laces and a special recycled collector’s box.
