After watching their team dispatched by Mizzou’s squad, fans of the University of Memphis are unquestionably angered by seeing the ‘other’ Tigers still hoopin’ it up in search of a ticket to Detroit. Maybe this’ll cheer ’em up. Though they’ll likely never be worn, since Memphis’ second season with the Swoosh will probably feature new kicks for the 2009-10 season, this pair of Nike Zoom LeBron VIs with their logo on the outer heel is still quite impressive. Featuring a black toe with the remainder of the upper in blue suede, these joints are perfectly balanced with a white swoosh, midsole stitching and other accents. Memphis’ shot at the title is gone while LeBron’s is gaining momentum. Whether you’ll be able to grasp this grail is uncertain, but we’ll be sure to let you know if these ever release. via SC
