Jordan Flight 45 – Black – Varsity Red – Stealth – August ’09

With all the hype around Fusions, Countdown Packs and other Jordan Retro releases, most of the focus seems to be placed on styles from the past, but the Jordan Flight 45 combines elements of both past and future into an interesting new model. The Jordan Flight 45 definitely conjurs some Air Jordan nostalgia with the Air Jordan 3 midsole and tongue and of course the Elephant print around the heel, but the remainder of the upper sports a fresh new design with a futuristic look. The upper features a combination of suede and full grain leather with a plastic strap extending from the heel around the ankle. The ankle section is high in front and gradually slopes down to a lower cut in back with a pull tab at the top of the heel. The Jordan Flight 45 will begin dropping in multiple colorways later this summer, with this Black/Varsity Red/Stealth colorway hitting stores on August 1st.
