Rumors, buzz and early images of the “Pearl” edition of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro have been swirling around the web for a while and now we finally have a confirmed release date along with some nice detailed images of the shoe. There has been a lot of speculation on what the final release version would look like and it appears that there have been a few small updates to the classic 1997 Foamposite design. The biggest changes on the Foamposite Pro version are that the shoe features a transparent outsole and a large Swoosh appears on the side of the upper like the 2002 Retro release. Changes or not, the kicks still look super-fresh thanks to the Retro appeal and the crisp color combo. These will go on sale May 23rd exclusively at House of Hoops and based on the anticipation that’s been building, there will be no doubt be a frenzy of sneakerheads swarming the store for a shot at a pair. If you’ve been waiting on these, you’d better plan on earning them, because demand is high and the quantities are still not known. Via FootLockerUnlocked.
