The three-day Maloof Money Cup competition, which boasts the largest purse in the history of professional skateboarding, rolled into the orange County fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, California last weekend and hosted three different professional competitions—Men’s and Women’s Pro Street, Men’s Pro Vert and the U.S. Amateur Championships. The event, created by Joe Maloof, included an innovative new street course designed by some of the top names in the skateboard industry and a 40,000 square-foot interactive festival village featuring action sport retailers and skateboarding activities.

Because this is the richest skateboarding event in history, all of the street legends and icons made an appearance, including Paul Rodriguez, Terry Kennedy, Ryan Sheckler, Geoff Rowley, Chris Cole, Erik Ellington, Nyjah Huston, Eric Koston, Greg Lutzka, Chaz Ortiz and Braydon Szafranski.  Catch these big names on the NBC broadcast of the Maloof Money Cup this Sunday, July 19th, 2:00 – 3:00 PM EST.  Additional photos via Transworld.
