Over the last year, Nike has taken the Air Force 1 back to its simplest form, choosing simple color blocking and palettes to give the classic shoe more of a traditional look. Here we have a look at the most recent example of this concept in action. This Air Force 1 Low sports a solid Obsidian leather upper and midsole with the only accents coming by way of some minimal splashes of White on the laces, heel tab and outsole, as well as on the contrast stitching and “AIR” branding on the midsole. Considering all of the wild Air Force 1 designs that we’ve seen over the years, this recent batch of back-to-basics colorways continues to provide a refreshing alternative that shows off the iconic design in a classic-looking style.
