When this model first came out in 1995, Nike named it the Air Total Max. But since then it’s popularity and contribution to Nike Air has since been better known simply as the Air Max 95. As homage to the success and relevancy to Nike’s history of Air, this all black pair gets a giant 95 embroidered on the side underneath the ankle collar. Simple as that.
