SBTG Basics Militarism Collection

On every sneaker and fashion site, blog, and forum you come across an abundant amount of negative comments, bashing on the output of brands, designers, collaborators and so forth.  Maybe it’s easy to be arrogant enough spit such hate cuz of the anonymity behind your screen.  Maybe it’s because you think these bigger names are completely oblivious of these remarks.  Think again.  SBTG, one of the globe’s most renown, still gets harsh words indirectly thrown his way – just like any other customizer trying to do their thing.  Maybe out of spite, or simply trying to satisfy a larger audience, SBTG has created a new permanent collection for 2010 known as the SBTG Basics.

The collection will be based off the AF1, featuring more simpler and low-key designs.  Responding to many discerns about his previous 7 years of work, the goal of this new series is to accommodate a reasonable budget while making it easier to rock these works of art on a more frequent basis. The ‘Militarism Collection’ being the first string of the Basic Series, you can choose from several monochrome uppers as well as SBTG camo prints, essentially making 20 variations to choose from.  Every pair, of course, comes equipped with a subtle SBTG tag and gold lace buckles.  White based shoes will sell for $289, while color-based shoes will be upped at $329.  A man of the people, SBTG stays humble hoping to continue to be commended for his work.
