Nike Air Carnivore Retro – White – Varsity Red – Black | Summer 2010

We’ve known about the Nike Air Carnivore Retro for over six months now, but every preview thus far has depicted the Grape-y joints.  This ‘other’ colorway might have you thinking of the upcoming Air Diamond Turf Retros, given their 49ers-esque palette and the wide instep strap.  But the Carnivore is like none other thanks to its ankle shroud, which curiously looks an awful lot like Kobe Bryant’s logo, but was designed a dozen years earlier.  These aren’t attached to a particular athlete, but they’ll likely show up on tons of sneakerhead feet when they touch down in Summer 2010.  via Kinstor
