Paul Rodriguez currently stands as one of Nike’s front men and was the proud owner the first ever Nike SB signature named after himself. P-Rod celebrated his Mexican heritage by releasing a special Cinco De Mayo colorway of his original P-Rod sig shoe which features the colors of the Mexican flag and a great golden graphic of wings. The P-Rod 3 version doesn’t feature any intricate “tattooing” but does feature an all-green suede upper with white, red, and brown trim. It’s easy to make the connection with the Nike SB Dunk Heineken, but wouldn’t Corona be a better fit for the occasion? This special colorway of the Nike SB P-Rod 3 should hit select SB accounts soon and are available now at WestNYC.
