Supra has been using their ultra-durable TUF material for a couple years now on a number of different silhouettes, and it’s somewhat surprising that nobody has followed them. The days of special skateboard shoe materials dates back to the Airwalk 600°F (or perhaps duct taped Air Jordan 1s), so don’t mistake the new Vans Tech Tuff Pack as a mere imitation. Then again, the 3M-like finish on this trio looks quite a lot like TUF, so we’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions. This pack contains three black/asphalt pairs, each with a bright color to accent the laces: Versa lowtops with green, Rowley 99s with yellow and the TNT II Mid Cup with blue.
