Once a model nearly on par with the Dunk and Blazer in terms of releases, the Nike Vandal High has been less prevalent in recent months. Here’s a Vandal that’ll never come out, a sample pair from 2005 with a look unlike anything else we’ve seen from the Swoosh. Its zig-zagging ankle straps might remind you of Charlie Brown, but the stripe is red, which ties in to the double-layered Swoosh. Even more interesting is the plaid-like pattern that appears on the overlay sections, which looks like it’d give off a bit of a gradient effect from a distance. As a nixed sample, these are extremely hard to come by, but you can cop a US mens size 9 from mental_therapy on eBay.
