In the past we’ve seen some great sneaker-inspired works of art that have taken shape in the form of birthday cakes, oversized storage boxes, and stained-glass sculptures. Check out this coffee table inspired by the bottom sole of the Air Jordan VI, designed by John McGloin; the table-top is perfectly scaled, from the Jumpman logo at the center and the traction dots drawn on the “sole” of the table. The table itself is four feet long and 19 inches high, and features an extra storage shelf tiered under the table-top. McGloin is also the mastermind behind that Air Jordan Storage Box that Sneaker News showed you months ago, so this handy craftsman could have more tricks up his sleeve for the future. In the meantime, check out the gallery of images after the jump and let us know if you’d purchase a unit if these ever hit the Ikea showroom.
