During the 2010 U.S. Open in Flushing, New York, Roger Federer wore a special NYC Edition of the Nike Lunar Vapor Tour. Featuring a white and carolina blue colorway with his RF Nike logo on the left heel at a trophy logo on the right (with the number 5 representing his U.S. Open titles), this NYC Edition fits the bill as it also showcases the New York City skyline along the heel of the shoe. The inner tongue tag features ‘Roger Day Match 2010’, presumably for his daytime matches in the tournament. Unfortunately, this is the last we will see of Roger Federer in Flushing, as he lost to Novak Djokovic in the semi-final match.
