Initially just another Nike Sportswear lifestyle sneaker with ’80s basketball influences, the Nike Air Royalty has evolved to fill a very specific niche. The initial colorways featured your typical (synthetic) leather construction and while some had interesting palettes, there’s no doubting the Air Royalty hit its stride with the Macarons Pack-like VT releases. The molded look on those has carried over to this new pack for Spring 2011, but instead of leather it’s a satiny material of which the upper is comprised. Check out two super-simple yet supremely satisfying pairs in red and blue with white laces and soles and let us know which one looks best. via Provider
