The weeks are getting colder and colder, but Sneaker News Weekly Rewind has still been red hot! Kicking off this week is a plethora of Air Jordan news – upcoming kicks, unreleased sample, Player Exclusives, and part II of our Michael Jordan Through The Years feature was all stuffed into the last seven days. Sneaker News also gave you a look at the numbers behind all the sneaker brands currently represented in the NBA, and while the number 1 spot was more than obvious, the remainder of that list provided some interesting factoids. Just by looking at our NBA Feet features, you’ll see the league is dominated by Nike, but other brands do exist and are going strong. The Nike LeBron 8 also made some noise, as we got a look at the Veteran’s Day colorway on his feet, in addition to a number of other special features.
Moving over to the non-basketball side of things was Nike SB and some great news for 2011; Quickstrike releases, new tech info, and a sweet new commercial with Eric Koston were all the headlines from the SB camp. For the runners, Sneaker News gave you an exclusive look at an upcoming colorway of the Air Max 24/7 as well as a preview of a Neon-95 inspired colorway of the Nike Air Stab, a shoe that disappointingly had not made much noise in 2010. Nike ACG did have a nice year thus far, so with the help of Crooked Tongues, Complex.com put together a list of the Top 50 Nike Trail shoes of all time. But the number one sneaker-feature was brought to you by CNBC; the internationally recognized news group delved into the world of sneaker collecting with the help of Sneaker News founder Yu-Ming Wu. If you missed any of these hot topics, check out all the top stories of this week with the Sneaker News Weekly Rewind!
